Grow your savings with simplicity, flexibility, and tax efficiency.
An ISK account makes it easier than ever for Swedish tax residents to invest globally in stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds while benefiting from advantageous tax conditions
An ISK is an ideal choice for Swedish investors who want a simple, tax-efficient way to grow their savings. It allows you to invest globally in stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds without needing to track each transaction for tax purposes. Instead of paying capital gains tax, you pay a low standard tax based on the account's value regardless of how much you trade. With no lock-in period, easy withdrawals, and automatic tax reporting, an ISK makes it easier to invest long-term and keep more of your returns.
An ISK offers low commissions on ISK-eligible global stocks, ETFs and mutual funds.

An ISK is available to individuals with a Swedish personal identity number, typically those who are tax resident in Sweden. The account is personal and cannot be jointly owned, though you may hold more than one ISK. Minors can open an ISK with a legal guardian. Eligible investments include mutual funds, ETFs and certain bonds, but unlisted shares are generally excluded.
To open an ISK account, you must be a Swedish tax-resident citizen age 18 or older. The ISK account can be requested as part of the account opening process or from the User (“Head/Shoulder” icon) > Settings > Open an Additional Account > Individual Brokerage Accounts > ISK menu in Client Portal.
