View the top contracts based on the region, instrument, parameters and filtering criteria. You can choose to:
View one of our eight pre-defined scanners.
Edit a pre-defined scanner to use different criteria.
Create a new scanner by picking a region and instrument type (i.e. US Stocks, Europe Futures, Asia Indexes), choosing a scan type (availability based on instrument selection) and adding filter criteria if desired.
To view a pre-defined scanner
From the Main Menu, touch Scanners.
Touch a pre-defined scanner to view the top 16 contracts that meet the scan criteria.
Optionally, edit the scan criteria by pressing the Android Menu button, then tapping Edit Scanner.
Edit the scan criteria as required. Scroll down to see all criteria.
When you are finished editing, press the Android Menu button, then tap Save and Exit to save the new scan criteria and re-run the scan.
To edit a scanner from the scan results
From the main menu, tap Scanners.
Tap a scanner to run it.
From the scan results screen, press the Android Menu button, then tap Edit Scanner.
Edit the scan criteria as required. Scroll down to see all scan criteria.
When you are finished editing, press the Android Menu button, then tap Save and Exit to save and run the new scanner.
Create a new scanner
From the main menu, tap Scanners.
Tap <Click to create a Scanner>.
On the Select Instrument screen, tap a region and instrument type (U.S Stocks, Europe Futures, etc.).
On the Scanner Type screen, select a scanner type. Note that available scanners are based on the selected region/instrument.
Type the name of your scanner in the Scanner name field.
Set optional filters such as price range, minimum volume and P/E Ratio etc. Scroll down to see all optional filters.
When you are finished setting filters, press the Android Menu button, then tap Save and Exit to save and run the new scanner.
If you leave the screen without saving, you are prompted to Save – Cancel or Discard.
When you return to the Scanners screen, your new scanner now appears in the list of available scanners.
